Javawind2 is a program that loads surf weather (wind, waves, temperatures, etc.) onto your cellphone, smartphone or PDA and displays it graphically and in color on your display. The data is loaded via GPRS, HSCSD or integrated modem. Instead of loading WAP-pages, which contain data heavy images Javawind2 only loads raw data and then converts it into graphics and color on the handheld device itself. This reduces the transfer volume so you will save time and money. And you always know when the wind is blowing! The weather diagram can be configured to fit your needs!
If you want to test the program for free and without any obligations, just load the program onto your handheld device. All you need is a Java enabled cellphone, smartphone or PDA and a data connection to the internet (integrated modem, HSCSD, GPRS, UMTS). Check out the manual!
As long as you don't subscribe for the paid usage, the program shows weather data only for randomly selected surfspots. You cannot define your preferred surfspots. Other than that the programm is fully functional. If you subscribe, you just need to enter an account ID which you receive upon subscription and which you have to enter in the program. This makes the program fully functional. You're then ready to go and you can also enter your desired surfspots.
Since the program does not run on all handheld devices you should test Javawind first! If it works on your handheld then subscribe for the paid usage, so you don't miss any big days any more!
